Day 3 — Countdown to Launch

The special guest has been selected for the launch of the new Maritime-wide radio talk show, Let’s Talk.

The show’s producer and host says, “The first guest needed to be someone from the national scene to show right out of the gate this is an important project.” Bill Martin added, “Given the nine station syndication and its extensive reach into the three Maritime provinces, we wanted a guest who could not only address an important topic, but one who was part of the larger picture.”

That guest is Mark Collins, the National Director of the Nazarene Church of Canada.

Collins has served in Ontario, PEI, and Nova Scotia and he now occupies an office in Toronto. Martin says, “He knows the challenges we face on the east coast, and he has the clout of a national organisation.”

Collins also carries his own unique topic — the death of Christendom! It was the subject of a recent sabbatical at the University of Manchester in the suburbs of London.

He will explain and perhaps defend his perspective on the inaugural program, Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4 pm. Collins will participate for the full hour, taking questions and feedback from the radio audience.
