Big Prize at Pugwash Fire Toonie Draw

Pugwash Fire Department awarded its biggest prize ever tonight in its Toonie Draw.

Sue Duncan won $1,883 in the community 50/50 draw when her registered number, 1109, was drawn.

The jackpot grew over the last few weeks as numbers were drawn for registered tickets that failed to enter a toonie to be eligible for the prize.

Next week's minimum prize starts at $332. It will grow as people enter their toonies, adding to the prize for next Wednesday.

Officials from the PFD remind ticket holders that you can prepay to ensure that your I.D. number is valid for the weekly prize.
