Missing Pugwash Man Found Safe & Well
A Pugwash man, missing since Friday, has been found by the RCMP.
Police report the man is safe and well following their near three days of searching.
The search for twenty-six year old Steven LaPierre began when he went missing Friday afternoon in the village. He was last seen about 2 o’clock, walking near Cheryl's Bakery on Durham Street.
There was some suggestion he left Pugwash, headed towards Amherst on Highway 6. Police determined that LaPierre was in Moncton on Saturday and may be travelling further west.
Communicating with the public exclusively via Twitter, police advised on Sunday, just before noon, that the search had ended with the good news that LaPierre had been found safe and sound. They provided no other details.
