Police Issue Emergency Alert for a Shooting Suspect

Mobile phones, TVs, and other devices rang out of the silence this morning with a broadcast alert across the emergency system.

Police are investigating a shooting incident last night in Riverview, NB. They issued the alert at 11:42 this morning after finding the suspect’s car in Amherst.

Police are looking for Janson Bryan Baker, a 24-year-old described as caucasian, 5’ 9”, about 141 pounds with a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes.

If you see this man, police urge that you do not approach him. Simply contact the nearest detachment of the RCMP.
