STATEMENT FROM THE NS FEDERATION OF MUNICIPALITIES
The provincial government has opted not to proceed with the implementation of a province-wide Coastal Protection Act. Instead, the province is asking municipalities to participate in coastal protection efforts through land use planning.

The leaves are falling, and with the changing seasons comes the unwelcome return of the influenza virus, along with other seasonal respiratory viruses. While influenza can impact people of all ages, it poses a higher risk for older adults.
