Staff Reporter / Friday, June 30, 2017 / Categories: News All Seats Filled at Village Commission TWO ELECTED BY ACCLAMATION The Pugwash Village Commission now has a full compliment of five commissioners. There were two seats to fill and that's the number of candidates who stepped forward before the nominations closed on Wednesday. Charlie Gould was re-elected, and Tracey Mundle will join him for a three year term on the commission. It has been tough to attract candidates in recent years. Of course, it is naturally difficult in a small village to find people with the time and commitment, to take on a volunteer position. As you look around the village, the same faces tend to stand out in leadership roles, whether it is the commission, Chamber of Commerce or volunteer committees. Mundle and Gould will be sworn in just before the next commission meeting.
