Amherst Man Arrested After Break-in
A twenty-eight year old Amherst man faces multiple charges following an investigation into a break-in at a shed in the Copp Avenue area.
Amherst Police arrested Bradley Richard Hicks yesterday.
He was charged with break and enter, two counts of failing to comply with release conditions, possession of break-in tools, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime valued at under $5,000.
During the investigation, police recovered an assortment of property related to the incident.
The investigation is continuing, with the possibility that more charges may be laid.
Hicks was held overnight. He is scheduled to appear in Amherst provincial court today.
During his court appearance, he is also scheduled to make his second appearance on more than 30 similar charges that were laid following an earlier investigation into break-ins and thefts from vehicles.
