Larry Duchesne / Friday, November 24, 2017 / Categories: News Biggest Crowd Enjoys Biggest Oxford Parade The 13th Annual Oxford Christmas Parade was a huge success. It had everything—large crowds, nice weather, and lots of entries. People lined the parade route from Oxford Frozen Foods to the foot of Main Street. Mayor Trish Stewart said, “It was the biggest parade ever, and the downtown crowds were loving it.” Parade prizes went to Oxford Sparks for Best Group or Organization; Cobequid Mountain Sports for Best Commercial float; Hair Needs Salon for Best Theme, and Buck’s Garage took home the Judges’ Choice. There was a very long line-up of kids and families to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus after the parade. Parade pictures below by Larry Duchesne and Bill Martin.
