Staff Reporter / Monday, May 20, 2019 / Categories: News Bikers Descend on Pugwash Church The rain and cold disappeared for Sunday allowing a parade of motorcycles through the streets of Pugwash. Bikers gathered for the 8th annual Biker Service, and Bike Blessing. The event was staged in partnership with the Christian Motorcyclists Association, a worldwide biker organization. They came from the South Shore, Pictou County, New Brunswick, with a strong local contingent from the Tri-County Riders centred in Tatamagouche. May is Motorcycle Awareness and Safety Month in Nova Scotia as most bikes are brought out of hibernation. It is a time to focus and be seen when driving on two wheels.
