Car Show Shines in Wentworth
Eighty-seven show cars, old and new, were on display at the 2nd Annual Show & Shine held Sunday at the Wentworth Recreation Centre. Participants came from all over Nova Scotia and beyond.
Jordan Spragg, president of the Wentworth Learning Centre, says they raised about $2000, an amount which will be matched by Scotiabank in Tatamagouche. He said the show was a success and will be held again next year.
The profits will be shared evenly between the Wentworth Fire Department, the Wentworth Recreation Centre and and the Wentworth Learning Centre, the 3 sponsoring bodies.
Accompanying events included a flea market, quilt show and sale, food truck, slip & slide (for the youngsters), and a blueberry cafe.

On Thursday they'll be Carlisle, Pennsylvania for a show expected to attract 5,000 Corvettes.
