Staff Reporter / Friday, February 4, 2022 / Categories: News COVID Accounts for 99 Hospital Patients Nova Scotia reported another death related to COVID-19 today. Premier Tim Houston said, “We have suffered significant loss of life in the last week. My sincere condolences to the 15 families who have lost loved ones.” The Premier added, "Nova Scotia is a small and tight-knit province, and these losses touch us all." There are 99 people now in hospital receiving specialized care in a COVID unit. Fifteen of those are in ICU. The average length of stay for COVID patients is now 7.9 days. Of the 99 people in hospital, 92 were admitted during the Omicron wave. Add your comments below.
