COVID Exposure Warning Issued for Parrsboro
Nova Scotia Health issued another potential exposure warning tonight (8:04 pm) but this one includes a business in Parrsboro.
Anyone who worked at or visited Wright’s Pharmasave either the pharmacy or Vaccine Clinic at 187 Main Street on May 7 between 9:00 am and 8:30 pm should visit covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not you have COVID symptoms. If you have symptoms you must self-isolate while you wait for your test result.
You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you.
Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on that date may may develop symptoms up to, and including, May 21.
Cumberland South MLA Tory Rushton is pushing for rapid testing in Parrsboro. Rushton says the people of the tight-knit community should not have to travel to Amherst or Truro to respond to this potential outbreak.
