Extra Prizes in Next Week’s Toonie Draw

It must be tough to give up $444 just two weeks before Christmas, but that’s what the owner of ticket number 264 did tonight in the Pugwash Fire Department (PFD) Toonie Draw.

That was the ticket number that was drawn but the owner neglected to enter a Toonie so the prize will be added to next week’s draw.

Organizers estimate the jackpot will likely be over $800 next Wednesday. The PFD is also adding two bonus draws for next week, each for $100 and guaranteed to be awarded, toonie or no toonie. The two extra prizes are a special Christmas promotion from the PFD.
