It was a commercial snow clearing vehicle, one of a small fleet from a local snow removal service that was working throughout the storm. The driver pulled over when he noticed smoke in the cabin. Firefighters responded quickly, but the tractor was fully involved when they arrived on scene. Once extinguished, they contained the diesel fuel, and secured the scene for the RCMP. There is no word on the cause of the fire, but damage was considered extensive.
