Fire Hero Thanked by Oxford Town Council

The Town of Oxford has honoured a young man who alerted 911 and woke a man whose house was on fire.

Mayor Trish Stewart presented a gift of appreciation from the town to eleven year-old Keegan Kouwenberg. The mayor said, “Because of our very quick actions, the house was saved and no lives were lost. We feel you show amazing maturity.”
