Flooding Closes Water Street in Oxford

UPDATE: WATER STREET HAS RE-OPENED.

The Town of Oxford issued a notice that Water Street is closed at the intersection of Waverly Street and Water Street due to water on the road. It is unsafe to pass.

The town is also monitoring other low areas in Oxford — Lower Main Street and Little River Road. Currently these roads remain open.

Motorists are asked to plan alternate routes and monitor this page for updates.
