Staff Reporter / Tuesday, October 16, 2018 / Categories: News Hairdo Determines Town Parking Limit How long does it take to have your hair done? That was a subject of debate at last night’s Town Council meeting in Oxford. It seems you should be able to have it done within two hours. So, the downtown parking limit is being changed from one hour to two. Councillor Wade Adshade suggested the town send letters to businesses telling them the town wants a two-hour parking limit and asking them to tell staff not to park in public parking spaces. Adshade says, “Let’s put it on the businesses to police their own problem.” Parking limit signs are in the process of being erected. The discussion came up following a complaint from a hairdresser that one-hour parking was not enough for customers.
