Staff Reporter / Saturday, June 22, 2019 / Categories: News Heavy Rain Washed-out Some County Roads The sometimes torrential rains overnight have created road washouts and flooding in widespread areas of Cumberland County. Cumberland was in the direct path of the heaviest rain in this latest low-pressure disturbance. The county’s emergency measures coordinator issued warnings this morning to emergency personnel. The following roads are closed due to flooding or washout: Pugwash Junction Road between highway 368 and Mitchell Road. Westbrook Road and highway 2 at Parrsboro. Highway 6 and the Pugwash River Road. Hartford Road and Cons Mills Road.
