It Takes a Village for Spring Cleaning

Many use the change of seasons to tidy up or renovate. Thanks to Pugwash Communities in Bloom (CIB), spring clean-up takes on community wide dimensions.

CIB is leading Litter Day in the village, in conjunction with International Earth Day this Saturday. People are invited to join a village wide clean-up team that will gather at the former Chatterbox Cafe at 9 am. They will fan out from there.

A dumpster will be located at the Salt Mine Wharf from Thursday through April 24 for disposal of all clean up material. Residents are invited to clean-up at home and deposit their refuse in the community dumpster for disposal.
