MacDonald Named Deputy Mayor in Oxford

The Town of Oxford has a new Deputy Mayor.

Stepping into the new role, by acclamation, is Councillor Arnold MacDonald who previously ran for mayor, and is serving his first term on town council.

The position became available when Wade Adshade resigned the post this week, though he will remain on Council. 

In previous months he had expressed concerns about his availability due to his employment, though no reason for his resignation was provided at last evening’s council meeting.
