Motorcycle Rider Suffers Serious Injuries

Cumberland County District RCMP are investigating a serious motorcycle accident on Highway 2 in Mapleton.

The bike and its solo rider left the road just after noon yesterday, landing in the ditch.

The rider, a 65-year old man from Lakelands, sustained life threatening injuries and was air-lifted to Halifax. 

A collision reconstructionist was on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
