Bill Martin / Thursday, November 28, 2019 / Categories: News New Business Proposed for Wentworth Wentworth may soon have a new dairy bar and drive-through cafe. Nathan Patriquin petitioned Municipal Council for a zoning change for his land on Highway 4 across from the Wentworth Learning Centre. Current by-laws do not permit a dairy bar nor a cafe. However, its close proximity to the Learning Centre and the Wentworth Market makes it reasonable to consider a zoning change to “Country Commercial”, which would allow the business. Council agreed and gave first reading approval last night. A public hearing will be held January 8th to allow local input prior to council’s final consideration. Add your comments below.
