Health officials report another 1,147 new cases of COVID-19 discovered on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Specifically, there were 578 cases reported today to go with the 569 new cases yesterday. Most of those, 826 are in the Central Health Zone. The Northern Zone accounted for 96 cases. The health report made no mention of the impact on the number of people in hospital.
