Nova Scotia Health Issues COVID Exposure Warnings
Nova Scotia Health is warning residents of three possible exposures to COVID-19, one in a restaurant and two airline flights.
The first was at the Glenholme Loop Petro Pass Restaurant near Debert on October 25th from 9 am to noon. Anyone who was at this location at the time should monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms may appear up to, and including, November 8.
The health authority is also warning about two recent Air Canada flights.
Air Canada flight 7488 on October 25th departed Montreal at 7:15 pm and arrived in Halifax at 9:50. Passengers in rows 21 to 27, seats D,E, and F should monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and call 811 for advice if needed. Symptoms may appear anytime between now and November 8.
Those present on this flight but not in the identified rows and seats should continue to self-isolate as required and self-monitor for signs and symptoms until November 8.
The second alert is for passengers on Air Canada flight 622 from Toronto at 6:40 pm which arrived in Halifax at 9:40 on October 27th.
In this case, the passenger, who tested positive for the virus, moved throughout the plane. Public health recommends all passengers on this flight self isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days and call 811 for advice if needed.
Anyone exposed to the virus on the flight may develop symptoms up to November 10. Those present on this flight should continue to self-isolate as required and self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 until November 10.

- sore throat
- runny nose
- headache
- shortness of breath
