NS Health Expands Access to COVID Tests

Nova Scotia Health is trying to accommodate rural residents gain easier access to rapid COVID test kits. The NSHA added four additional pick up sites in Cumberland County.

Rapid tests will now be available—by appointment—at:

• North Cumberland Memorial Hospital in Pugwash—ED entrance—daily from 11 am to 7 pm.
• Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche—ED entrance—daily from 11 am to 7 pm.
• All Saints Springhill Hospital—Main entrance—Monday to Friday 1 to 3 pm.
• Bayview Memorial Health Centre in Advocate Harbour—Main entrance—Monday to Friday 1 to 3:30 pm.

Residents will still need to complete the online assessment and book an appointment.

Testing is reserved for those with symptoms and/or close contacts of a COVID-19 case.
