Staff Reporter / Friday, January 21, 2022 / Categories: News NS State of Emergency Extended Again Nova Scotia has extended the pandemic state of emergency for another two weeks as patient numbers grow in hospitals across the province. Sixteen new hospital admissions were announced today, bringing the total to 94 in COVID treatment facilities, including 13 patients in ICU. The state of emergency, first declared under the Emergency Management Act on March 22nd 2020, has been extended every two weeks ever since. This latest imposition expires February 6, 2022.
