One More Death and Twenty New COVID-19 Cases

Another day, another death, as twenty new COVID-19 cases in Nova Scotia boosts the total to 935.
Another resident of Northwood Care in Halifax died yesterday bringing the province’s total to twenty-eight, all seniors with underlying medical conditions.
Premier Stephen McNeil and Dr. Robert Strang will conduct a press conference this afternoon to answer questions on the latest release of information. The event, at 3:00 o’clock, will be broadcast live on Six Rivers Radio. Click HERE to listen.
The microbiology lab at the QEII Health Sciences Centre completed 905 tests yesterday.
There are 10 licensed long-term care homes and unlicensed seniors' facilities in Nova Scotia with cases of COVID-19, involving 227 residents and 97 staff.
To date, Nova Scotia has 27,486 negative test results, 935 positive COVID-19 test results and 28 deaths.
Confirmed cases range in age from under 10 to over 90.
Eleven individuals are currently in hospital, three of those in ICU. Five-hundred and twenty-nine individuals have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
