Staff Reporter / Tuesday, October 26, 2021 / Categories: News Oxford Habitat Project Delayed Not Stopped The Habitat for Humanity project in Oxford has been delayed a few weeks all because of ten feet. The house construction project intended to start on October 12th, but the site is ten feet—3.04 metres—too far from the Nova Scotia Power line. NSP will install a new pole to carry the line to the new house. Modern day homes require electricity, but so do the contractors and tradespeople who build them. The setback is simply a delay, not a postponement of the project. Construction is still planned for this fall and will start as soon as builders have power for their tools. Add your comments below.
