Oxford on a Roll in Girls Baseball Provincials

The Oxford Wildcats remain undefeated on the season and they are half way through the provincial U14 Girls Baseball Championship near Grand Lake.

Oxford downed Glace Bay 12-0 this morning in a four inning game shortened by the mercy rule.

Emily McLellan led the attack driving in three with a bases clearing double, followed by a two run triple by Allie MacDonald.

MacDonald started on the mound and was assisted by Sophie Mazur, and Grace Dickie.

The Wildcats will face their biggest test at 4:30 when they meet Tri-County, whose only loss thus far this season was when they last played Oxford.
