Protect Wentworth Renews Wind Opposition

Opponents of the proposed wind farm on Higgins Mountain gathered last night to discuss their options.

The Protect Wentworth Valley Committee called on its supporters to test their resolve and consider next steps following the environmental approval to erect a number of gigantic wind turbines that they feel will mar the valley’s pristine lifestyle, irreparably, for generations to come.

About 25 people gathered at the Wentworth Learning Centre with more attending virtually. They seemed unanimous in their resolve to keep up the fight.

They discussed a plan of action which will be revealed in an announcement set for tomorrow.
