Pugwash Hosts High School Basketball Tourney

The Pugwash Panthers will host a six team boys basketball tournament this weekend. Play opens Friday evening and the winners are declared Saturday afternoon.

The tourney opens Friday at 6 pm with Hants North meeting North Colchester. Pugwash takes to the court at 7:30 to host Drumlin Heights, and the evening closes with Forest Heights against North Colchester at 9 pm.

Play resumes on Saturday morning when Springhill plays Drumlin Heights at 9:00. At 11:15 Hants North completes the round robin against Forest Heights.

The final standings will be determined with cross-over matchups between the two pools. The two third place finishers meet at 1 o'clock, the seconds play at 2:30, and the top team from Pool A meets its counterpart from Pool B at 4 pm.
