The wrap-up reports represent the activity of the mostly volunteer driven organizations that serve the community. The commission also accepted the detailed report of its auditors who verified the accounting and management procedures used in the village. There are five commissioners, all volunteers, who serve a three year term. The terms are staggered to ensure continuity from year to year. Nominations are now open for two seats on the commission, with an election set for July 12th. Charlie Gould is re-offering for one seat, but former Chair, Christie Blackie, will not run as she recovers from a serious illness. Nominations close on June 28 at 4:30.
