RCMP Search for Propane Thieves
Cumberland RCMP are investigating three overnight thefts of propane tanks.
Police responded to a call at 2:00 am at the Wentworth Market on Highway 4. Two people made off with fifteen 20-pound tanks of propane from a locked storage container.
Yesterday, at approximately 3:10 am, two people stole another fourteen tanks from a similar locked storage at a gas station on Junction Road in Springhill.
About thirty minutes later, they helped themselves to two more 20-pound tanks and two 40-pounders at the Murray community centre on Main Street.
Images of those believed to be involved in each of the incidents were captured by video surveillance.
