The hospital was evacuated on March 4th when smoke was detected. While Nova Scotia Health never revealed why, it was later learned through the area MLA, that a motor in an exhaust fan was the culprit. They closed for 22 days to “assess and remediate” the building. They slowly re-opened services, but until today, that excluded the second floor. Effective today, the hospital is offering all inpatient services and outpatient clinics. Add your comments below.
