Stun Gun Used in Pugwash River Assault
Police are looking for a man with a stun gun who attacked another man at a cottage on Pugwash River Road.
It was about 5 pm yesterday when a man arrived at the cottage where he was met outside by one of the occupants of the cottage.
A verbal confrontation led to a physical confrontation. The visitor wielded a stun-gun like weapon, and held it to the victim's neck, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim got up and chased the suspect, who fled the area in a dark coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck with a white cap.
The victim suffered minor injuries. There were two other people in the cottage at the time.
Police do not believe this was not a random act.
The suspect is described as a white male with short dark, brown hair, in his mid-thirties, approximately 6-feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured sweater.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or has any information, to contact the Pugwash RCMP Detachment at 902-243-2181.
