Toonie Draw Awards $594 Prize

Stephen and Gwen Ferdinand are $594 richer this evening. Their number, 386, was selected in the Pugwash Fire Department ‘Toonie Draw’.

The 50/50 split was a little higher than usual because no winner was declared last week, adding to this week’s pot. While a number was drawn, the owner of that number had not entered a Toonie in the weekly draw.

Pugwash Firefighters have now distributed over 12 thousand dollars to lucky winners throughout the community.

Next week's prize will be a minimum of $142, based on those who prepay their entries. Of course, the pot will grow through the week as people enter their Toonies before next Wednesday.
