Toonie Jackpot Grows for Next Week

If you are not a winner, you are a... person who will remember to enter a Toonie in the next 50/50 draw with the Pugwash Fire Department.

The holder of ticket number 93 missed out on $315 last night in the Pugwash Fire Department Toonie draw. While #93 was drawn, the owner had not placed a Toonie in a draw box, so the prize gets added to next week’s draw.

It is estimated at a minimum of $460 for next Wednesday. That figure will grow with each Toonie entered between now and then.

The 50/50 community fundraising draw is made each Wednesday evening.

The fire department has already awarded over 12 thousand dollars in prize money to winners in the Pugwash area.
