Toonie Winner Collects for Two Weeks

The holder of ticket number 106 picked up a nice piece of change in tonight’s Toonie Draw at the Pugwash Fire Department.

Angela Boyce won $839 in the weekly 50/50 draw.

Nearly 900 people are now registered in the Toonie Draw, but not all of them remember to enter a toonie to be eligible for the Wednesday evening draw. Tonight’s prize includes $404 that was forfeited last week.

Organizers of the PFD fundraiser remind people that your registered number gets you into the draw, but you must put that number on a toonie and place it in the draw boxes that are available throughout the community. Some players choose to pay in advance and the details are available wherever a Toonie Box is located.
