Staff Reporter / Thursday, October 20, 2022 / Categories: News Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Trafficking Charge A 41-year-old Amherst man was arrested on drug charges following a search of his vehicle during a traffic stop. The Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) conducted the traffic stop yesterday on Crescent Avenue in Amherst. During the search, police seized a quantity of cocaine. The man was later released and will appear in Amherst Provincial Court on March 27, 2023. He will be charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. Add your comments below.
