Staff Reporter / Friday, April 22, 2022 / Categories: News Transition Has Begun to Close Sunset Home The Executive Director of the province’s Disability Support Program says the transition from large residential care facilities is underway. Maria Medioli says homes like the Sunset Community in Pugwash will not likely be directly affected for about three years. Nova Scotia Community Services plans to close the large residential facilities in favour of four bedroom homes scattered throughout communities to offer more choices and inclusion for the clients they serve.
