Truck Destroyed in Suspicious Fire

A pick-up truck was destroyed by fire yesterday near Conns Mills.

Pugwash Fire Department responded to the call just before 7:00 last evening along Thompson Road.

An older model Chevrolet half-ton had clearly been burning for a while when firefighters arrived.

Three crews and trucks handled the fire. Firefighter Corey Martin is shown in the photo using foam to extinguish the last of the hot spots.

There was no driver or passengers at the scene. Once the fire was out, the RCMP took charge of the investigation.
